Donald Wilford Bilodeau

Donald Wilford Bilodeau, 65, Forest Park, died June 11, 2004. He was born Jan. 27, 1939 in Woonsocket, R. I. He served in the United States Navy on the U. S. S. Piedmont. His naval service and work at the United States Post Office was from March, 1956 to October, 1996. A veteran Honors Memorial was held at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Survivors include his daughter, Robin Rose B. and Donald Spence, Fruit Cove, Fla.; grandchildren, Ashley Spence and Josh Spence, Fruit Cove, Fla.; a brother, Gil P. Bilodeau, Fayetteville; a nephew, Sean Bilodeau, Fayetteville; and a niece, Sara Bilodeau, Fayetteville.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 672648, Marietta, GA 30006-0045. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.

Clara Roberts Row

Clara Roberts Row, 85, Peachtree City, died July 24, 2004. She was born July 29, 1918 in Mayfield, Ky. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Orion Yaple Row. They had met in Washington D. C. when they worked the Rural Electric Association. Until two years ago, she had lived in Chevy Chase, Md., and Washington, D. C. for over 50 years. An excellent seamstress, she made many of the evening gowns she wore to embassy parties and inaugural balls. Having beautiful penmanship, she addressed many of the inaugural ball invitations for presidents Eisenhower, Nixon, and Reagan. She volunteered her time with the Girl Scouts and the Republican Women’s Club, and loved to garden. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Robert Lawrence officiating. Interment was at Arlington Memorial Park, Atlanta, Ga. Survivors include her daughter, Patricia R. and John King, Peachtree City; grandchildren, Orion Andrew King, Benjamin King, and Caroline King, all of Peachtree City; and sisters, Rebecca Faulkenberg, Indiana, and Therese Powers, Kentucky. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
