Samaritans list top needs

The Fayette Samaritans are a non-profit food and clothing bank. The 12-year-old organization is supported by more than 40 local churches and is devoted to feeding and clothing needy Fayette County citizens.

Its needs for August are as follows:

1. Canned fruit.

2. Bathroom tissue.

3. Apple juice.

4. Canned salmon.

5. Canned tomatoes.

6. Cereal.

7. Canned meat, chili with beans, beef stew.

8. Hand soap, shampoo.

9. Canned pasta, Spaghetti-Os, etc.

10. Canned vegetables.

Fayette Samaritans are at 126 Hickory Rd., next to the Fayetteville Christian Church and are open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to noon. Phone them at 770-719-2707.
