Chick-fil-A celebrates anniversaryThe end of July marks the first anniversary of the Chick-fil-A restaurant on Camp Creek Parkway.ÊTo commemorate this milestone, the restaurant will hold a Customer Anniversary Day on Saturday from 10 a.m. Ð 9 p.m. The event will feature activities for the entire family to enjoy including special tributes from local police officers, firemen, basketball players, a choir, the Fulton County School Board, and two local high school marching bands.Ê Additionally, customers can enjoy: Giveaways throughout the day: Plush cows, pencils, etc Chick-fil-A spinning wheel; Cow Toss Game Dancing with a herd of Chick-fil-As popular Eat Mor Chikin cows Drawing for an oversize plush cow Free combo meal of choice to the 100th customer of the day Were very excited about the warm welcome the East Point community has shown us since we opened last year, said Melissa Winkfield, operator of the Chick-fil-A on Camp Creek Parkway. This celebration is a way for us to thank our friends and neighbors throughout the community for supporting our restaurant. We look forward to returning the support for many years to come. Since the opening of the restaurant one year ago, Winkfield and her Unit Marketing Director, Valerie Simmons, have committed the restaurant to staying involved with the community.ÊWhile school is in session, the location hosts several School Spirit Nights each month.ÊOn these nights a portion of the stores sales benefit the participating schools.ÊA few of the schools that have participated in Spirit Nights are Camp Creek Elementary, Bethune Elementary, Philip Randolph Elementary, Park Lane Elementary, Hamilton E. Holmes Elementary, and West Lake High School.ÊWinkfield and her team continue to look forward to continuing to host the monthly event.
