CorrectionIn Wednesdays paper, the days for watering were incorrectly reported. The correct days should be for odd addresses are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays and even addresses are Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. CorrectionA story in Wednesdays edition about Peachtree Citys budget contained incorrect information about the citys manpower issues with the fire department which can force the temporary closure of fire stations when there is a personnel shortage. The article should have indicated Fire Chief Stony Lohr said two firefighters are needed at each fire station for safety needs. Routinely, the department sends just one firefighter with each responding apparatus, but it would be better and safer to have two firefighters for each apparatus, Lohr noted. It is the policy of The Citizen to correct errors of fact upon notification. ClarificationJ. Frank Lynchs column on the front page of the July 28 edition of The Citizen was written before the Fayette County Board of Educations meeting Tuesday at which it decided to raise millage rates. |
