The second movie in the Movie Under The Stars series has been
rescheduled for Saturday, August 7 at the Baseball Soccer Complex
on Ga. Highway 74 in Peachtree City. The movie was rescheduled
after rain forced the cancellation of the July 2 showing.
Ice Age, rated G, is the featured movie on the five-story inflatable
movie screen. The show will begin at dark, but food and activities
will be available from 7 p.m. Full concessions, including grilled
food, will be on sale by the band boosters of McIntosh High,
who are raising funds for future band trips. There is no charge
for the movie.
The McIntosh Band Boosters, the Peachtree City Parks and Recreation
Department, The Avenue, John Wieland Homes, The Home Source Realtors,
Kwik Kopy Printing and Dino Jump sponsor this movie series.
Ice Age is a great movie for the entire family. Guests are urged
to bring blankets or low-backed lawn chairs and enjoy a wonderful
evening under the stars. You may bring your own coolers, but
remember alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Guests are also
asked to not bring animals to the event.
