Religion BriefsMount Olive Baptist Health Fair is this Saturday Mt. Olive Baptist Church will have a Health Fair Saturday, July 31, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., featuring Dr. LaVert Robertson, N.D., and staff from 12 noon until 2 p.m. The event will feature blood pressure checks and massages, and information on aroma therapy, holistic healing, PMS and menopause, a cleansing program, diabetes, weightloss, hair, skin, nails and more. Body of Christ youth event set for Friday, Saturday The Body of Christ Church International, U.S.A. in College Park, will host a free two-day event for children and youth, ages 3 to 19 Friday and Saturday, July 30-31 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The Youth Explosion 2004 will be for children ages 3-12, and the Chosen Explosion 2004 will be for youth ages 13-19. Both events begin Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. The Chosen Explosion 2004 will continue Saturday with a day of fun and fellowship in the park. The church is at 3650 Flat Shoals Rd., College Park. Kindermusik starts Aug. 16 at FFUMC The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church is now accepting enrollment for its fall Kindermusik program, geared toward toddlers (ages 18 months to 3 years), preschoolers (ages 3-5 years), and young children (ages 4-7 years.). Fayetteville Christian plans fish fry The Global Outreach Ministry Team at Fayetteville Christian Church and those going on the upcoming mission trip to Mexico in October will sponsor a fund-raising fish fry Aug. 8, following the morning worship service at the church. Proceeds will go toward helping with expenses of building a house for a family in Juarez, Mexico. Sign-up sheets for reservations will be available at the church July 25 and Aug. 1.
