Jones-Wonderling

Edward and Brenda Jones of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Melanie Edna Jones of Lawrenceville, to Ian Bradley Wonderling, son of Brad and Carol Wonderling of Decatur, Ala.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Edna Jones Fricks and the late Herman Edward Jones Sr. of Rome, and the late Mr. and Mrs. William H. Thomas of Knoxville, Tenn. A 1998 graduate of South Gwinnett High School, she attended Gwinnett Technical College, majoring in restaurant management. Currently, she is employed as the general manager of Ruby Tuesday’s in Gainesville.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Betty Wonderling and the late Max Wonderling of Summerville, PA., and Mrs. Naomi Young and the late Harold Young of Corsica, Pa. A 1998 graduate of McDavott High School in Nashville, Tenn., he attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and currently is employed as the general manager of Ruby Tuesday’s in Alpharetta.

The wedding will be Thursday, Aug. 12, 2004, at 6 p.m., at the St. Simons Island Gazebo by the lighthouse on St. Simons Island. A reception will follow at the King and Prince Restaurant on St. Simons Island.
