One
of Hollywood’s
hottest choreographers will be teaching dancers from
all over Metro Atlanta the latest music-video moves next
Saturday
in
Fayetteville.
Marty Kudelka, choreographer for such stars as Justin Timberlake,
Jennifer Lopez and Janet Jackson, will teach two classes, intermediate
and advanced, at TUCS Cheer LaB in Fayetteville. The classes
are open to the public, but space is limited.
This is an opportunity for students from area dance studios,
as well as cheer and dance teams, to learn from an experienced
choreographer who works with today’s top artists.
Kudelka choreographed Justin Timberlake’s recent “Justified” World
Tour as well as N’SYNC’s “Celebrity 2002 Tour.”ÊIn
addition, he choreographed Pink’s “Get the Party Started” music
video and Jennifer Lopez’s “Jenny from the Block” video.
He also helped Timberlake launch his solo career by choreographing
all of his music videos including “Cry Me a River” and “Rock
Your Body,” among others.
Kudelka took a brief break from music videos to choreograph
the Disney feature film “The Lizzy McGuire Movie,” which
starred Hilary Duff.
The intermediate level class is for dancers 10 and up and will
be held on Saturday, July 24, from 10 a.m. to noon. The advanced
level is for elite dancers with experience and will be fast paced
and high energy. It will be held from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday.
Each session costs $40. Advance registration is recommended.
