Union Grove plans homecoming

Union Grove Baptist Church in Union City will have its Homecoming Celebration Sunday, Sept. 5, at 3 p.m.

“Homecoming is a time to reflect back on our humble beginning; to give thanks to God for all that he’s done for us,” said the Rev. John D. Menafee, senior pastor at Union Grove.

The Rev. Robert J. Stanley and the Mt. Zion Baptist Church family will be special guests for the homecoming celebration.

Annual revival services will follow two days later, beginning Tuesday, Sept. 7 and continuing through Sept. 10. Services will be at 7:30 p.m. each night.

The speaker for the week will be the Rev. Rece Tucker Jr., pastor of Unity Baptist Church in Seat Pleasant, Md.
