PruGeorgia hosts Masters Conference

Prudential Georgia Realty annually honors its top real estate agents by holding a three-day, motivational and educational retreat at the Hilton Sandestin Resort in Destin, Florida. Known as the Masters Conference, more than 100 Prudential agents attended the beach retreat in May.

Part educational, part networking, and loaded with fun-filled activities, the theme of this year's event was "The Heat Is On!" Guest speakers brought in for the event included Beverly Buffini, wife of motivational speaker Brian Buffini, and author of “I Can, I Will, I Believe!,” luxury homes specialist and president of Prudential California Realty John Aaroe, and representatives and inspiring child spokesperson Shelby Robin, age 14, from The Sunshine Kids, a cause with which Prudential Georgia Realty has partnered.

"The Masters Conference is really about celebrating and assisting our top associates to be the best they can be," explained company senior vice president Toni McGowan. "It's a chance for them to network with each other, relax in the beautiful atmosphere of Destin, and learn new skills to help take their business to the next level."

One highlight of the conference was a Salsa Night, complete with dance lessons from professional dance instructors and a dance contest. At a morning breakfast rally, the agents assisted The Sunshine Kids, an organization that helps kids with cancer, by raising more than $700 in pocket change. In addition to these fun and inspiring events, agents were updated on such topics as technology, new training programs being rolled out exclusively by Prudential, coaching, and the Fine Homes Program.
