Religion BriefsOrchestra forming for July 18 performanceJonesboro First Baptist Church invites all musicians school age and up to join its orchestra for the second annual Blow Your Own Horn orchestral performance at the Sunday evening service July 18. Rehearsals will be Saturday, July 17, from 9-11:45 a.m. and Sunday, July 18, at 4 p.m. A free breakfast and childcare will be provided Saturday morning. Olive Baptist Church will have a Health Fair Saturday, July 31, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., featuring Dr. LaVert Robertson, N.D., and staff from 12 noon until 2 p.m. The event will feature blood pressure checks and massages, and information on aroma therapy, holistic healing, PMS and menopause, a cleansing program, diabetes, weightloss, hair, skin, nails and more. Holy Ghost Revival set for July 18 in Grantville A Holy Ghost filled revival will be held at the old train depot in Grantville July 18-23, at 7 p.m. nightly. Featured speakers include Tracy Noles of Carrollton, Tina Lashley of LaGrange, Doyle Johnson of LaGrange, and Jonathan Hannah of Senoia. Special singers will be featured at every service. Kindermusik starts Aug. 16 at FFUMC The Fayetteville First United Methodist Church is now accepting enrollment for its fall Kindermusik program, geared toward toddlers (ages 18 months to 3 years), preschoolers (ages 3-5 years), and young children (ages 4-7 years.). Grantville offers gospel singing monthly A free monthly gospel singing is held the fourth Saturday of each month at the old train depot in Grantville. Singing begins at 6 p.m. and features gospel singers from all over the southeast. The next performance will be Saturday, July 24, and will feature The gospel Messengers from LaGrange, Dean Stephens from Franklin, Young Spirit from Manchester, and the GoJin family from Phenix City, Ala.
