Murder suspect capturedA suspect wanted in a Fairburn murder was captured Monday night. Thomas Bush Jr., 33, of College Park was arrested Monday evening after a phone tip led Fairburn Police to his whereabouts, said Fairburn Polic Captain. H. E. Miller. Bush, who had been sought in the June 22 fatal shooting of Christian Underwood, is being held in the Fulton County Jail and has been charged with felony murder. Underwood, age 25, who had lived in the Four Seasons community in Fayette County picked up Bush in Fairburns troubled Lightning District, apparently to buy drugs, police said. Bush got into Underwoods car and shot him as he drove away, officials added Police believe that Underwood had flashed a large amount of cash that may have led to Bushs robbery and shooting of the young man. Bush fled the scene and has been in hiding for nearly two weeks.
