Local residents attend Christ the Kings new member classSeveral people from Fayette and surrounding areas recently attended a new member class held recently at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg. The subject matter included church history, apostolic succession, the canon of scripture, church government, sacraments, mission and ministry, core beliefs, and biblical finances. The class was led by Father David Epps, rector of Christ the King. Those attending included James and Kim Statzer, Scott and Kim Marhefka, Tracey Bell, Michael and Jackie Doyle, and Matthew Doyle, all of Peachtree City; James Gardner of Tyrone; Michael and Donna Harris and Karen and Scott Quinn of Sharpsburg; Courtney and Ron Miller and Charlotte and Dwight Cannon of Senoia; Yolanda and Edwin Cerniga and Helene Buelterman of Newnan, James Gardner of Tyrone; and William Nelson of Fairburn. Christ the King is on Ga. Hwy. 34, just west of Peachtree City.
