Tyrone resident playing a key role at software companyTASCware, Inc., an Alpharetta-based software provider of Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management Systems, has hired Andy Dyer as chief information officer. Mr. Dyer, who lives with his family in Tyrone will report directly to Travis M. Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer. Dyer was the founder of Integrated Display Systems, a software consultancy providing architectural design, development, and testing services to such diverse clients as the Atlanta Falcons, Indiana Pacers, Total Touch Technologies and TASCware. For TASCware he developed specialized versions of their medical practice management system for hand-held wireless devices. Prior to this, he served as the VP of Technology for RouteMatch Software, responsible for the design, development, and support of a suite of products that managed logistics, billing, and reporting for transportation agencies across the US. He has also served as Director of Product Methodology for Manugistics, and held a number of responsible positions in the IT Division at Delta Air Lines, from Programmer to Senior Project Manager. Dyer holds a BS in industrial management from Georgia Tech, and an MS in computer systems management from the University of Maryland UC; he has also been recognized as a Certified Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute. TASCware, Inc. is an established, thirteen-year-old software company, which provides wireless Electronic Medical Records and Practice Management solutions for the healthcare industry. Based in Alpharetta, TASCware solutions connect to cell phones, PDAs, Tablet PCs, touch screens and traditional desktops.
