FACE ProclamationCommission
Vice Chair Nancy A. Boxill presented a proclamation to Doug Carl, Human Services,
president of
the Fulton Alliance of County Employees (FACE) for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual
and Transgender (GBLT) Equality. The document recognizes the Fulton government employees group as an example of diversity in population and government, and commends FACE for sponsoring an education and awareness day during Pride Week in the Government Center Atrium. In August 2003, the Commission approved a resolution co-sponsored by District 6 Commissioner Boxill and District 2 (At-large) Commissioner Robb Pitts authorizing benefits for unmarried employees in certified committed relationships.
