Covad offers high-speed broadband services to 11 more communitiesCovad Communications Group, Inc. (OTCBB: COVD), a leading national provider of integrated voice and data communications, today announced completion of the companys Network Expansion Initiative in Atlanta, Georgia, making digital subscriber line (DSL), frame access, and T1 broadband services available to more homes and businesses. Now, the Atlanta communities of Adamsville, Ben Hill, College Park, Covington, Dallas, East Point, Forest Park, Gainesville, Griffin, Morrow, and Riverdale, have access to Covads broadband services. Under Covads Broadband Network Expansion Initiative strategy, Covad has successfully increased broadband accessibility by over 21 percent in the area. An additional 256,000 local households and 20,000 local businesses now have increased choice and availability of broadband services. Covad also has pre-existing broadband services available to over 1.2 million homes and businesses in the cities of Acworth, Alpharetta, Atlanta, Austell, Buford, Carrollton, Cartersville, Chamblee, Clarkston, Conyers, Cumming, Decatur, Douglasville, Duluth, Dunwoody, Fayetteville, Jonesboro, Loganville, Lilburn, Lawrenceville, Lithonia, Marietta, Norcross, Newnan, Panola, Peachtree City, Powder Springs, Roswell, Smyrna, Snellville, Stone Mountain, Stockbridge, Tucker, and Woodstock.
