Wedding and Engagement Announcements

Hammett-Bishop

Marc and Sarah Hammett of Tyrone announce the engagement of their daughter, Tabitha Hammett, to Nicholas Bishop, son of Jacqueline Thompson of Fairburn and the late Gregory Bishop of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Marcellus and Shirley Hammett and Robert and Joan McGregor. She currently attends Sandy Creek High School and will graduate in the summer of 2006. She plans to further her education at a two-year technical school.

The groom-elect is the grandson of the late Alston and Edna Bishop, and the late Virgil Nelson and Betty Laurendine. A 2004 graduate of Sandy Creek High School, he will attend Marine Corps boot camp at Parris Island, S.C. in July, and will specialize in operational communications.

The wedding will be in late spring or early summer, 2006.
