Wedding and Engagement Announcements

Brem-Williamson

Dr. Thomas Brem and Mrs. Linda Braender of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Alison Elizabeth Brem, to Jon Matthew Williamson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Williamson of Washington, Ga.

The future bride is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Goetze and the late Ferdinand Goetze of Milwaukee, Wis., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Howard Brem, also of Milwaukee. She is a 1996 graduate of Fayette County High School and a 2000 graduate of Auburn University. She obtained a B.A. in finance and is employed as a senior financial analyst for The Home Depot.

The future groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Williamson Jr., of Washington, Mrs. Bessie Mae Skipper of Tignall, and the late Harvey Skipper of Cochran. He is a 1993 graduate of Washington-Wilkes Comprehensive High School. He attended the University of Georgia and obtained his audio engineering degree at Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts, Winter Park, Fla., where he was valedictorian of his class. He currently is employed at the Schwartz Center for Performing Arts.

A small ceremony for family and close friends will be held Aug. 28, 2004, at the First Baptist Church of Washington.
