Students attending summer semester courses at Clayton State will get
an extra boost of knowledge before midterms thanks to the Mid-Semester
Tutoring Blitz. The blitz, made possible through the efforts of the
faculty and the Universitys Center for Academic Assistance, is
June 15-16 from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. in the lower level of the University
Library.
A unique tutoring program, Clayton State hosts tutoring blitzes twice
each semester, once at midterms and again at finals. In addition to
free tutoring by peer tutors, students who attend the blitz benefit
from one-on-one help from their professors. Students are encouraged
to drop in; no appointments are necessary.
The innovation and success of Clayton States tutoring blitzes
has caught the eye of the University System of Georgia. The Board of
Regents published an article on one of the Universitys midterm
blitzes in their newsletter The System Supplement.
