Fayette students make the gradeThree Fayetteville students were among the 360 president's and dean's list students at Presbyterian College for the spring semester of the 2003-04 academic year. Two hundred and ninety-eight students were named to the dean's list for posting at least a 3.3 grade point ratio. Among them were: Lisa Christine Heitzman, a senior English major from Twin Branch Walk. Margaret Marie Sams, a sophomore chemistry major from Antioch Road. Jamie Lynn Vining, a senior business administration major from Riveroak Drive. Presbyterian College is a private, four-year liberal arts institution classified by the Carnegie Foundation in its top category of private liberal arts colleges. PC has a student population of 1,200 that features the best and brightest students who are taught by a prestigious faculty that includes five South Carolina Professors of the Year who were honored by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. Wyndell Dwight Bush Jr. of Fayetteville qualified for the Brewton-Parker College dean's list for the spring 2004 semester, announced Dr. Ron Melton, provost. Qualifying students were enrolled in 12 or more hours and earned a grade point average of 3.6 or better
