Chamber hosts Candidate Forum July 8

The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Metro Fayette Kiwanis Club are hosting the first of several “Meet the Candidates” Forums July 8 at 7 p.m. at Starr’s Mill High School Auditorium.

The Forum is open to the public and will featurecandidates forFayette County Commission Post 2 (incumbent Herb Frady vs. David Simmons) and Post 3 (incumbent Peter Pfeifer vs. Sam Chapman). Thecandidateswill be asked challenging questions about current issues.

The Forum will be cablecast live on Comcast channel 24, and also taped for later viewing.
