Stanislaus takes state title

Sandy Creek’s Mellany Stanislaus won the AAAA state championship in the triple jump with a jump of 39' 5.250.” Sandy Creek finished 20th overall in AAAA.

Fayette County’s Cammy Andrews placed second in the high jump with a jump of 5’2”, while Simone Heath placed sixth in the AAAAA discus with a throw of 113' 1.000.”

McIntosh’s Emily Borsare placed second in the 3,200-meter run with a time of 11:14.430 and fifth in the 1,600-meter run with a time of 5:12.400.

Starr’s Mill’s Kristin Olson placed third in the 300-meter low hurdles with a time of 44.310 and sixth in the 110-meter intermediate hurdles with a time of 15.210. Amy Gress placed fifth in the pole vault, 8’6”, while Jeanine Guertin placed sixth, 8’.

Starr’s Mill placed 18th in AAAAA, while McIntosh paced 20th and Fayette County placed 29th.
