Gisela Mann to speak at PTC Aglow’s May meeting

“You are not a survivor until you become an overcomer,” according to Gisela Mann, pastor of Kos Mayim Temple in Riverdale.

Mann will speak Monday, May 17, at the monthly meeting of Peachtree City Aglow. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at Calvary Temple Assembly of God, one-quarter mile south of Ga. Hwy. 54, across from Peachtree City United Methodist Church.

Mann, who founded the congregation of Jewish believers in Jesus 13 years ago, said she now is a survivor, having overcome obstacles not only as a German-born Jew, but also as a Messianic Jew and as a woman in ministry.

A resident of the United States since 1974 and of the state of Georgia since 1980, Mann travels the country, teaching and preaching a message primarily of overcoming and surviving, as part of her goals to evangelize and to develop Christian disciples and leaders.

Prior to founding Kos Mayim Temple, Mann served in pastoral leadership in Church of God and Assembly of God congregations, served on the mission field in Central America and Israel, and served 15 years in the U.S. Army as an officer. She is a graduate of the School of Ministry at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, Texas. She is married and has three children.

Free nursery will be provided. Men are welcome. For more information, call Lorna Nissen, 770-631-8534, or Pat Forest, 770-486-1537.
