Police going to hoop against studentsThe Peachtree City Police Department will be facing off against the seniors of McIntosh High School in a charity basketball game May 11. Not only will this game serve as a rematch from the previous charity basketball game in 2003, but it will also serve as the last official event in the original McIntosh High School gymnasium. Alumni from years past are encouraged to attend this event and raffle tickets will be sold, as memorabilia from the school will be up for grabs. Members of the Police Youth Relations Organization will be on hand to help organize the game and admission is $1 at the door. If you have questions about the event, contact school resource officer Sgt. Alan Reeves at 770-631-3232.
