Monday’s baseball games were rained out, pushing them to Tuesday afternoon. Starr’s Mill took on Riverdale Tuesday and won 4-2 in nine innings with Kyle McCreary hitting a home run in the top of the ninth. Danny Hartpence went 4-for-5 for the Panthers, scoring two runs and hitting two doubles. Blake Nation picked up the win, pitching five innings and giving up no runs and no hits, while striking out four.

Things didn’t go as well for McIntosh, who lost to Newnan 15-0 in five innings. The Chiefs did not get a hit in the loss.

Starr’s Mill hosted Mundy’s Mill Wednesday and won 14-2. McCreary drove in three runs in the win.

Starr’s Mill will play at East Coweta tonight at 7 p.m. The Indians are currently first in the region, but Starr’s Mill handed the Indians a loss earlier in the season and is hoping to sweep the season series. They will wrap up the regular season with a home game against Lovejoy Monday at 5:30 p.m.

McIntosh will host Riverdale tonight at 7 p.m. and will close out their season next week with a home game against Mundy’s Mill Monday at 7 p.m. and an away game at East Coweta at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
