The Peachtree City Water and Sewerage Authority will meet at 6 p.m., an hour earlier than usual, Monday so that authority members and members of the public can tour the constuction site. When they return at 7 p.m. one of the items on the agenda will be a public hearing to establish septage rates.

Septage is the waste that is pumped out of septic tanks and currently there is no rate for septage since WASA has not accepted septage at their plants before. Previously, septage has been taken to Clayton County or somewhere else.

Larry Turner, general manager of WASA, stated that this would not affect the rates charged to their regular customers.

Other items on the agenda will be the election of officers and Rockaway Treatment Plant Modifications.
