New Fayette manager named

Atlanta Gas Light Company a subsidiaryof AGL Resources, recently named Jesse Killings as region manager overseeing operations in Clayton, Fayette, Henry and south Fultoncounties. He will manage AGLC’s service center in Riverdale, which deliversnatural gas to approximately 180,000 meters in the four-county market.

Killings, who has been with AGLC for 11 years, will oversee 55 employees andis responsible for the centers’ daily operations, which include pipelineoperation and maintenance, customer service, emergency response and repairsas well as meter installation and reading.

For the past four and a half years, Killings has been region manager for theNewnan/Griffin service area. Prior to that, he served in various capacitiesfor the company, including as industrial engineer, firm industrialrepresentative and commercial markets supervisor.

While AGLC’s Newnan/Griffin region manager, Killings served as campaignchairman for the United Way of Coweta County in 2002 and 2003. He was on theboard of the Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity and the Newnan-CowetaChamber of Commerce.

Killings received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineeringfrom Tuskegee University in 1992. He and his wife, Brigitte, have beenmarried for seven years and have two young children.
