Obituaries

Claude A. Paré

Claude A. Paré, 68, Fayetteville, died March 21, 2004. He was born Sept. 22, 1935 in Rhode Island. He was retired from Eastern Airlines. A memorial mass was held at Saint Philip Benizi Catholic Church with interment at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Janis H. Paré, Fayetteville; a son, Michael Paré, Fayetteville; granddaughters, Rachel Paré and Brittany Paré; a sister, Cecile Thompson, Huntsville, Ala.; a sister-in-law, Anita Paré, New Jersey; three nephews; two nieces; and one great-nephew. Memorial donations may be made to Saint Philip Benizi Catholic Church, 591 Flint River Road, Jonesboro, GA 30238. Metro Crematory, Peachtree City, was in charge.

Joan R. Anderson

Joan R. Anderson, 59, Fayetteville, died March 24, 2004. She was born June 7, 1944 in DeKalb County. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Justin Kollmeyer officiating. Interment was at College Park Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Robert Anderson Sr., Fayetteville; sons, Tony and Becky Crider, Conyers, Terry Crider, Stockbridge, and Robert Anderson Jr., Riverdale; daughters, Tracey and Michael Lee, Fayetteville, and Christine Anderson, Riverdale; five grandchildren; mother, Ochal McAlister, Clarkesville, Ga.; and brothers, John Reese, Pinellas Park, Fla., Ned Reese, Warner Robins, and Mark McAlister, Clarkesville. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.

Charles Alan Dickinson

Charles Alan Dickinson, 56, Jonesboro, Fayette County, died March 25, 2004. He was born Dec. 21, 1947 in Fulton County. He was employed with Norfolk Southern Railroad for 32 years. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Chuck Kitchens officiating. Interment was at Holly Hill Memorial Park, Fairburn. Survivors include his wife, Pat Dickinson, Jonesboro; children, Rodney Dickinson, and Chris Chaplin, both of Jonesboro, Jason and Jennifer Dickinson, Hogansville, Ken Wallis, Atlanta, Carolyn and Tom Stewart, Stockbridge, and Shannon Chaplin, New York; a brother, Tommy Dickinson, Atlanta; a sister, Laverne and Marshall Dingler, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Noel Stewart and Katelyn Stewart, and stepmother, Alice Dickinson, Union City. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.

Peggy J. Pollard

Peggy J. Pollard, 62, Brooks, died March 25, 2004. She was born March 27,1941, in Coweta County, Ga. She was preceded in death by her children, Anthony Pollard, Deborah Pollard, and Stanley Pollard. Services were at the Open Door Baptist Church, Senoia, with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Interment was at Whitewater Baptist Church Cemetery, south Fayette County. Survivors include her husband, Robert Ishee, Brooks; a daughter, Rhonda and Bruce Goddard, Brooks; grandchildren, Elizabeth Pollard, Wesley Pollard, and Riley Goddard; former husband, Ralph Pollard, Brooks; mother, Rachel Feltman, Senoia; sisters, Willene Bullock, Griffin, Dorothy Byron, Luthersville, Linda Quick, Senoia, and Cathy Harris, Grantville; and a brother, William Kelley Jr., Senoia. Memorial donations may be made to the Youth Department, Open Door Baptist Church, Senoia, GA 30276. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
