County vendor conference set

Contractors, suppliers, and consultants interested in learning about county procedures and future business opportunities, should attend an upcoming vendor conference that will be hosted by the Fulton County General Services and Parks and Recreation departments.  

The conference will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. April 13 at the HJC Bowden Senior Multipurpose Facility, 2885 Church Street, East Point.

County representatives will discuss General Services and Parks and Recreation Capital, Non-Capital and Service projects that will be procured over the next year.

Representatives from the County’s Purchasing Department and Office of Contract Compliance will provide an overview of the procurement process. The Transportation division of the County’s Public Works Department will also have an information table on-site.

Small vendors are encouraged to network with invited prime contractors and consultants and other small firms as well as procurement and department representatives.
