Panthers down Tigers on links

Starr’s Mill defeated Fayette County on the links March 16 by a 152-164 score at the Palmer Course at Starr’s Mill. Ian Cutting shot 38 and Jesse Fellabaum shot 39 for Fayette County.

Cutting won the individual title in the Warrior Invitational Tournament at Skitt Mountain Golf Club in Cleveland, GA last Saturday. He defeated two golfers from Roswell High in a one-hole playoff, which he birdied to win, after shooting a two-over-par 72 to get into the playoff. There were more than 160 golfers in this event.

The Tigers finished 10th out of 32 teams in Cleveland. Robby Jourdan shot 84, Jesse Fellabaum shot 85, Andrew Gray shot 86, and Chris Crawford shot a round of 91.
