Southside Baptist plans spaghetti supper

Members of Southside Baptist Church will have a spaghetti supper Saturday, March 27, from 5-7:30 p.m. The cost is $6.50 per plate plus dessert. Proceeds will go to the church building fund. Southside Baptist is at 1332 Ga. Hwy. 92, Fayetteville.

Olivet Baptist women announce events

The Women’s Emphasis Ministry of the Olivet Baptist Church of Christ invites the community to midweek worship, Wednesday, March 24, at 7 p.m., featuring Judge Penny Brown-Reynolds. There will also be a Worldwide Tea on Saturday, March 27, from 9:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. Sunday worship, March 28, will feature Dr. Angela Watkins at 7:45 a.m. and Dr. Juel Pate-Borders at 10:45 a.m. The church is at 877 Ga. Holy Trinity plans family health fair

Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree city will have a Family Health Fair Saturday, March 27, from 8 a.m. until noon. Available screenings include those for breast cancer, diabetes, dental, vision, hearing, prostate, nutrition, spinal column and more. Those who wish to be screened for diabetes are asked to fast before being screened. Holy Trinity is at 101 Walt Banks Rd. in Peachtree City. For more information, call 770-487-5352.

Inman UMC to hold barbecue March 27

Members of Inman United Methodist Church will have a “Finger-Lickin’ BBQ” Saturday, March 27, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. All proceeds will go to the church’s building fund. Tickets are $6 in advance and $7 a the door, and may be obtained through the church office, 770-461-2123.

FFUMC plans Easter Egg Hunt March 28

Members of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will host a children’s Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, March 28, from 3-5 p.m. The event is for toddlers through 3rd graders. CDM to host ‘Brag on God’ meeting

Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) in Fairburn will host a ‘Brag on God’ meeting Sunday, March 28, at 6 p.m. No nursery or childcare will be provided. The meetings are held one Sunday evening each month and include a time of prayer, praise, worship and “bragging on the goodness of God.” CDM is at 114 W. Campbellton St. in Fairburn. Peachtree City UMC schedules Easter festival

Members of Peachtree City United Methodist Church will have an Easter Festival Sunday, March 28, from 2-4 p.m. The event will feature egg hunts, puppet shows, face painting, crafts, inflatable bouncers, slides and games. Those attending are asked to bring a stuffed bunny for a needy child.

Greek Orthodox mission plans Lenten services

The Greek Orthodox Mission of Peachtree City will celebrate the Saturday of Lazarus on April 3 with Orthros at 8 a.m., Divine Liturgy at 9 a.m., and Lenten Breakfast and Tying of the Palm Crosses at 10:15 a.m. Palm Sunday services will be on April 4, with Orthros at 8 a.m., Divine Liturgy at 10 a.m., and Service of the Bridegroom at 7 p.m.The location is the Fayette Family YMCA on Huiet Rd at Hwy 54.Contact Tammy Soulakos, 770-487-1004 or tammy@peachcity.com for the Holy Week schedule.
