Sheriff doing great job

I was intimately involved in a child molestation case in 1989. The sheriff’s department did a wonderful job of arresting the predator.

He did not take a plea bargain and was sentenced to two life sentences plus 100 years on 27 assorted counts. They had evidence that proved his guilt. They were also very supportive to the victim and others involved in the case. They do their job when there is clear evidence to pursue.

To also address the subject of [Sheriff] Randall Johnson’s helicopter, that was paid for by money the sheriff received from drug busts in the county. No taxpayer money paid for that.

Sheriff Johnson has done a wonderful job all these years and only recently have people been bashing him and his office. You should be glad that the county you live in has such an honest and hard-working office.

Not until the marshal incident has his name ever been dragged through the mud so much. We need to support him and his office. Mr. Daly, you need to get your facts straight.
