Thanks for forumI just read the Free Speech and editorial sections today and wanted to thank the editor for printing so many varying opinions of the local and national hot-button issues. Great views, from gay marriage and patriotic banners to the Passion and Iraq! You have such an important job, that of enabling all of us to be part of the dialogue and not just printing opinions that you agree with. Personally, I would bet that you and I would not be the best of friends, just by reading your own editorials and knowing my own deep convictions. But that doesnt mean you and I, and the rest of us, cannot engage in lively, civil debate among one another. And when I read the varying opinions in our small community, it helps to know that I am not the only liberal-minded person in Fayette County. So, thank you, Mr. Editor, for allowing all of us (liberal, conservative, gay, straight, Christian, non-Christian, black, white and all the colors in-between) to have a voice, even if it is just a small one.
