Magistrate: Drug suspect can come back to PTC for work only

A suspect accused of having a significant quantity of cocaine and marijuana in his car during a traffic stop in Peachtree City has been granted an $86,500 bond.

But one of his bond conditions is that he not come back to Peachtree City except for employment purposes, according to the bond granted Tuesday by Magistrate Charles Floyd.

Travis Alexander, 24, of Senoia is charged with possession of a controlled substance (suspected crack cocaine), possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

Peachtree City Police Chief James Murray said he asked for the high bond and the special condition because he doesn’t want anyone linked to drug sales coming back into the city to set up shop.
