Local woman accepts position with national sorority

Peachtree City resident Stacy Lyn Taylor has accepted the position of Director of Alumnae Expansion with Sigma Kappa Sorority. Her two-year term as a Sorority national officer began in February.

As Director of Alumnae Expansion. Taylor will be responsible for working with alumnae chapters around the world. Taylor also has served Sigma Kappa as an Alumnae Membership Coordinator and as the President of the Southern New Hampshire Alumnae Chapter.

Taylor is an alumnae member of the Beta Sigma chapter at Purdue University and a current member of the North Metro Atlanta Alumnae Chapter in Atlanta, Georgia. She was initiated into Sigma Kappa in 1991.

Sigma Kappa Sorority, founded in 1874, is a national not-for-profit organization of more than 136,000 women dedicated to excellence in academics, personal character, and service to society. The purpose of Sigma Kappa

Sorority is to "unite its members in a bond of sincere friendship for the development of character and the promotion of social, literary and intellectual culture, and to make a constructive contribution to the communities in which its chapters are located."
