Two years without a loss The Booth Middle School eighth-grade girls basketball team completed its second straight perfect season by winning the Metro Middle School Athletic League championship, defeating Fayette Middle in the final game. This team went 17-0 on the season, and the same girls finished the 2002-03 season with an 8-0 record as seventh-graders. This year’s team outscored its opponents 609-377, setting a school record with 54 points in a single game. Erin Justice, who set a school record with 24 points in a single game, was one of six players named to the MMSAL all-tournament team out of 12 schools.
