Lutheran midweek Lenten services offered

Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will offer midweek services during Lent on Wednesday afternoons from 12:15-12:50 p.m. and Thursday evenings from 7-7:35 p.m. The theme for the season will be “On That Night,” recounting events from the night of Jesus’ arrest. Hymns, prayers and a dramatic monologue are planned for all the services.

Greek Orthodox Mission plans Lenten services

The Greek Orthodox Mission of Peachtree City will celebrate Lenten services on Friday evenings, March 12, 19 and 26, at 7 p.m. at the Fayette Family YMCA on Huiet Rd at Hwy 54 in Fayetteville. Life Line Worship Center to offer prophecy class

Life Line Family Worship Center, Inc. will offer its first class for the School of Prophecy on Saturday, March 13. The class is free and open to anyone who has a five-fold ministry calling. Christ Our Hope announces Lenten services

Christ Our Hope Lutheran Church in Riverdale will have “Wednesday Evening Service of Prayer at the Close of the Day” with communion at 7 p.m. each Wednesday, March 10, 17, 24 and 31. A dramatic reading will provide the focus for each service and there will be a time of silent prayer and meditation. The church is on Ga. Hwy. 138 near the Fayette County line. Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City will have a Family Health Fair Saturday, March 27, from 8 a.m. until noon. Available screenings include those for breast cancer, diabetes, dental, vision, hearing, prostate, nutrition, spinal column and more. Those who wish to be screened for diabetes are asked to fast before being screened. Added attractions include clowns and door prizes. Inman UMC to hold barbecue March 27

Members of Inman United Methodist Church will have a “Finger-Lickin’ BBQ” Saturday, March 27, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. All proceeds will go to the church’s building fund.
