Walk through a garden

Months of planting, fertilizing and growing paid off for Rebecca Hellgeth at the Southeastern Flower Show in Atlanta recently. Hellgeth, owner of Monet’s Garden in Peachtree City, and her family created an island of over 1,000 plants, trees and flowers, a water feature and winding paths, right in the middle of the Georgia World Congress Center. Her hard work was rewarded. She won the “Sock it to the Senses Award” and the “Chairman's Award for Distinctive Garden in Landscape Design.”
