PTC First Presbyterian Church offers Lenten Devotional book

The First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City is ushering in the Lenten season by the publication of its second annual Lenten Devotional Book, comprised of 40 daily messages written by members of the church, reflecting on Christ’s teachings and the way He has influenced their individual lives.

“As Christians worldwide enter the Lenten season, now is the time to reflect on Lenten traditions,” a church spokesperson said. “Certainly, it is a time for reflection, a time to fast, a time to renew, a time to feast. Feast? Yes, the forty days of Lenten can also be seen as a time to feast as we remember Christ’s teachings and the impact He has on our lives, then and now.”

Member Dan Gibbs summed up his experience, saying, “As a contributor, this allows me to open my heart to others so they may see the influence of Christ in my life, and as a reader, it allows me to see the direct intimate relationship others have with God.”

To obtain a copy of the book, contact the First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City, 206 Willowbend Road, 770 487-7757.
