Lots of nonresidents at FCHS

My daughter is a student at Fayette County High School and has told me many times how many cars are in the parking lot with Clayton County tags.

She knew for a fact that some of them were indeed still living in Clayton County because we lived in that county for 26 years and she knew who some of them were.

She felt it was very unfair they were allowed to go to FCHS without living in the county. It caused a lot of problems from being pushed out of the lunch line to rude remarks in the hall.

We moved to Fayette County for a reason, but now it seems like we’re back in Clayton. With the school being as overcrowded as it is I’m glad someone is making sure the only students in FCHS are the ones living in the school district.
