Make banner into 3 signs . . .

I saw the Crumpton brothers on TV. God bless them. We need more people like them in this country. When I was growing up (in the 1950s), there WERE more people like them.

If the Crumpton’s are forced to remove the sign, I say, “Shame on the city officials.”

Have they considered making the banner into three separate signs with, say, 10 to 12 inches of space between the three sections?

Like this: GOD (space) BLESS (space) AMERICA

That should satisfy the “law” and still retain the message and the visual size of the banner.

Please forward my message to them. They need to know that we support them. I wish I had an e-mail address for them. I would like to thank them myself.

[The editor replies: The Fayetteville sign ordinance limits not just the size but also the number of signs allowed. Thus, your solution would run afoul of the number limit.]
