teams earn state slots
Several local teams
have clinched berths in the state basketball playoffs as region tournaments
continue into the weekend.
Lacrosse
team explodes in home opener
The Peachtree City
high school lacrosse team exploded with an offensive showcase in its
home opener, dominating Oconee 15-1. The team scored three goals in
the first five minutes of play and never looked back, positioning themselves
as a favorite in The North Georgia Lacrosse League. Although named with
the PTC moniker, the team represents many of the high schools in Fayette
County.
