Like millions of
Americans, I hurried home on Sunday evening to catch the Super Bowl
on television. I don’t watch sports nearly as much as I once did,
but I still have a soft spot in my heart for the “mother of all
bowl games.” I even remember who won Super Bowl I and Super Bowl
II. The Green Bay Packers, under Coach Vince Lombardi, won both times,
defeating Kansas City 35-10 in 1967 and crushing Oakland 33-14 the following
year.

I’m
a dog person ... have been all my life. I come from a long line of dog
people. My dad, he was a dog person, his father was a dog person and
his father before him. So it’s no surprise that The Boy is a dog
person too.
