Panthers sweep area duals

ROARK The Starrs Mill Panthers faced five opposing teams without a loss Saturday to win the Area 4-AAAAA duals at McIntosh. East Coweta finished second, followed by McIntosh, Fayette County, Newnan and Mundys Mill. With only six teams competing, a round-robin format was used. Starrs Mill and East Coweta will move on to the state duals Saturday at McEachern. Tyler Kourajian became the Panthers all-time wins leader Saturday with his 173rd career win. Kourajian (130 lbs.), Cory Radcliffe (112), Devin King (125), Mike Cosper (135), Tyler Freeman (152), Patrick Kellerman (160), David Drake (171) and Bradley Conner (215) finished the day with 5-0 records, while Stephen Savage (119) was 4-0. Drake and Conner each recorded five pins.
