Clarification Cass Poolman submitted her name in consideration for the office managers position at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater, but withdrew before Tuesdays interviews were conducted, said City Manager Bernard McMullen. A story in Wednesdays Citizen said Poolman was scheduled for an interview. In an email to the Citizen on Thursday, Poolman said she is employed by IBM as a Management Consultant. McMullen is an officer in the Peachtree City Tourism Association that now manages the facility. The PCTA was expected Thursday night to fill the position, left vacant with the Jan. 2 resignation of Judi-ann Rutherford, who was elected to City Council in November. Cass Poolman is the wife of Lee H. Poolman, who Rutherford defeated in a runoff on Nov. 23.
