Local human services council hosts first meeting of new year In their first meeting of the New Year, The Fayette Council Human Service Council met at Fayette Community Hospital to discuss their goals for 2004. How can the council help companies and organizations meet individual goals? It was agreed increased networking needs to take place between businesses and organizations in Fayette County. The number of agencies represented by the council needs to be extended. Also, increased knowledge of what each organization does within the community is vital to the community workforce banding together to bring about improved and helpful growth. Representatives from numerous service organizations were present and shared their work scope. The sharing of community services available, brought further resources and possible opportunities. With continued growth in Fayette County, the council discussed the importance of continued networking not only between but within organizations to promote not only optimal growth, but a community that works together through leadership possibilities, team building and volunteerism to name just a few. Organizations and businesses are invited to participate in networking with The Fayette County Human Services Council to bring further success to Fayette County's growth.
