FPC fires up ‘Refuel’ programs

Fayette Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville will launch its “Refuel for 2004” midweek activities schedule tonight, Jan. 14, beginning with a fellowship dinner at 6 p.m. followed by activities for all family members.

Spiritual growth opportunities include the following:

“Wild At Heart: A Band of Brothers” is a study for men based on John Eldredge’s book. The course is described as a “life-changing, multimedia experience as men come together as a band of brothers seeking God’s vision for their lives, and each moving to become the man God wants him to be. “

“The Aqua-Church,” based on Leonard Sweet’s book, is a study which prepares disciples for effective church leadership in the uncertainties of the post-modern world.

“Starting Point,” is a short-course introduction to Fayette Presbyterian and the Presbyterian Church (USA). The Purpose-Driven Life, described by author, Rick Warren, is a 40 day guide for the spiritual journey to discover the answer to life’s most important question: “What on earth am I here for?”

Senior high boys, senior high girls, and middle school youth are invited to join a small group to grow through Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.

Interactive learning and fun activities are provided for preschool and school-age children.

Classes for all ages begin Wednesday evening Jan. 14, at Fayette Presbyterian Church, 791 Forest Ave (Ga. Hwy 92 north), Fayetteville, and run from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Fellowship supper is at 6 p.m.
