Put school concerts in The Citizen calendar

I appreciate the paper delivered to me weekly, but I’m still looking for a listing of the Christmas (winter) musical programs of the local high schools. I called the schools last year and got the information I needed to attend these concerts.

The students and their leaders practice this music from September until performance in December. They work hard and we like to help show them that we appreciate them by attending the concerts.

Now, my question to you is why don’t you print a list of the performances of the Christmas concerts given by the local high schools in your paper? You could start entering the schedule in the paper before Thanksgiving and continue the entry until after the concert is performed.

It seems to me that this would be a cultural service for the local high schools as well as the older, or general public, who would like to attend the concerts.

[The editor replies: While we did include the concerts in separate articles in the paper, we take your point that a continuing calendar of such events would be a good thing. Thanks for your constructive criticism.]
