Peachtree City man named art director at Le Mans

J.J. Foy of Peachtree City has been named art director in the Creative Services Department of the American Le Mans Series at Road Atlanta in Braselton, after joining the staff on a part time basis in early 2003.

Foy earned a degree in electronic media with a minor in visual communication at Berry College, where he worked for two years as graphics editor and editorial cartoonist for the school newspaper. In addition, he was a producer/director for the campus TV station.

His appointment was one of three promotions announced by the professional sports car racing series. Kristine Groft of Monterey, Calif., has been named director of promotions/marketing sales & service, and Joe Aiken, who joined the American Le Mans Series staff in March as webmaster, has been promoted to director of creative service.
