Advent services continue at Christ Our Shepherd

Midweek Advent Services continue at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City. The church is on the corner of Peachtree Parkway and Ga. Hwy. 54.

Today’s services, Dec. 10, will be built around the theme, “All Are Welcome.” A service of carols and Bible study is at noon. Groups from the church’s LOGOS program will lead the service at 6:50 p.m. The service will include the 8th grade puppet troupe, “Rockin’ Shepherds” 6th grade boys’ handbell choir, “The Word Team” speaking choir, “Moved by Grace” dancers, 8th grade drama team, and 7th grade art group. The prelude will be played by Christ Our Shepherd’s intergenerational flute choir.

Dec. 17 services will reflect the assurance that “God Keeps His Promises.” The service at noon features the church’s director of Christian education, Edie Eickemeyer. The senior high Christians In Action clown troupe, coached by Nikki Rach, the new director of youth and family ministries, will lead the evening service at 6:50 p.m.

The public is invited to all services.
